This film has a rather unique story and with disco-style robots that look amusing. Movies like these generally appeal to teens although the ideas will baffle even the adults. As a generation that have already been used to more futuristic types of movies, I'd say this pales in comparison but considering that this was done during the '70s era makes it admirable enough.
