There isn't anything about this film that I don't like. It's Just the right side of sentimental, and odd without being weird. The acting is superb, as are the locations and cinematography. The various devises used to get inside the protagonists head are very delicately used, even when they are less than subtle. The cinematography is at once naturalistic and, with the aid of some brilliant editing, surreal. The hamster is sublime. I feel a DVD purchase coming on.
