Amazed to discover that the director of this film, Yoshihiro Nakamura is famed for horror flicks like The Booth.  In this film, it's quite a smorgasbord of genres but it was still commendably done.  The solid performances of actors like Gaku Hamada and Mikako Tabe were essential points that added to the film's unique flavor but also because of the main idea beneath all this,  that the world can be saved with a little help from a song.  Entertaining to watch and with twists along the way, the movie won Best Feature Film at the Neuchatel International Fantastic Film Festival.  Worth checking out especially for punk rock music lovers out there.
