Disturbing, intense and a great cinematic experience!  This film by Toshio Matsumoto set in the '60s is a class all its own for the surreal images at times made more interesting as this was filmed in black and white.  Viewers get to see a taste of Japanese gay cinema with scenes showing drag queens as well as violence. There are shots  that are unreal but are there to serve a purpose and the flashback scenes of Eddie's life was quite bloody.  This is a film that's both shocking yet brilliant all at the same time.  Do check out this classic film!
