This movie tells the story of a carefree and live in the moment surfing instructor named Ford, played by acclaimed young actor Sid Lucero. His seemingly contented lifestyle becomes challenged upon the return of his childhood friend and now congressman Rich, played by RK Bagatsing, another promising indie actor whose now metamorphosing into mainstream acting. Ford is challenged to face life's realities including the truth or myth surrounding his own identity, of whether he is indeed the offspring of Francis Ford Coppola, as his mother often tells him. Lucero delivers a very intense and convincing performance and this was well-balanced with an equally stunning portrayal of Annicka Dolonius as Chona. Cinematography was generally commendable, too. Worth checking out!
