I know everyone raves about how amazing Marilyn Monroe is in this, but Jane Russell deserves just as much praise. They play of each other terrifically, and the jokes are as funny now as they no doubt were then. As for the musical numbers, they'll take your breath away (my favourites were the opening number, Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend, the ship farewell and the gym/pool sequence, wait, isn't that all of them?) and you'll be left with a sore jaw and cheeks from grinning for a full 90 minutes. Pure joy from the very beginning to the very end.
