To follow up Days of Future Past with this is a disgrace. Sloppily thrown together, some really awful CGI, cast members sleepwalking through their roles, uninspired dialogue (one line in particular challenges the naffness of Storm's "what happens to a toad" line in the first X-Men) and far too many characters for its bloated running time to successfully flesh out... the list of faults goes on. Only one scene stands out, and it's a rehash of what we've seen before (clue: 3000 frames per second). And watching Nicholas Hoult flex his acting chops next to a very bored Jennifer Lawrence is embarrassing.
