Blindness is not a deterrent to living the life the way we want to, and part of this is making choices. Daniel Ribeiro has the knack of making films with seeming mundanity, using symbolism from habits. In this film, the walk from school is a regular activity, walking with a particular friend was the habit, then it changed as someone came along and took over the duties of the other. The film’s fresh subject was tackled in a very lighthearted manner.
