Is this life hell? DIYU presents the idea that the life we live in now is hell. The film sees death as the only way out of hell. Unfortunately, the film did not present life as hell enough. Hell is only experienced by the main character through nightmares. The film would've benefited from more scenes depicting real life as hell for the main character. If this was not possible, then it would've been better for the film if it displayed and expounded on the opposite of hell more. The film touches on this but does not satisfactorily explain it. Despite of this, DIYU's excellent visuals and above average acting gives it a solid 3 stars.
