Hanger is a film that is less for entertainment but more for poetry. The film's acting is dull and scenes exhibit no excitement at all. However, like poetry, it has to be deciphered to be appreciated. It will take viewers multiple replays to understand what the writer intends to truly express. From my first watching of the film, the main character finds her existence to be as useless as the cockroaches she constantly kills. Overall, the film expresses depression, uselessness, and hopelessness; thus making it boresome.  At the same time, it's use of excellent visuals and a deep plot make it an artistic work rather than an entertaining film.
