The horrific conditions around him were not enough to deter Stanley from tracking his owner.  It was a dangerous mission, true, but his strong intent to find his owner and give him back the shoe he left behind was so heartwarming.  This animated film takes on the zombie apocalypse in a new light,  from the standpoint of a dog and sprinkled it with comedy to give it  a lighter note.  Indeed, a dog is a man's best friend!
