One is drawn to the dream-like, blurry effect of images in this film.  There is a presence of  an ethereal white light that is almost blinding to the sight.  The girl discovers new dimensions with the aid of a white wolf and she goes through a magical world that somehow lifts her spirits.  The  concluding scene sees the girl  petting a young wolf  and as the elder  wolf dissolves slowly in the air, one gets the notion that  it led the girl to a companion so she can have a friend  of her own.   This film evokes strong feelings  of friendship and survival from grief that sometimes overpowers us.
