A well-written plot and excellent acting gives Wonder Boy the ability to communicate a difficult reality in just 15 mins. Wonder Boy makes use of a boy named Clancy, a Chinese immigrant, in showcasing problems with cultural integration. Though Chinese in the film, Clancy is able to reflect numerous experiences by other races in other countries. This is so due to the well-written plot. With great acting, viewers will empathize with Clancy and wish to resolve his identity crisis.
