The grey, white and black film gives us a sense of loneliness and uncertainty. The grays, specially, tell us that we cannot judge this film on impulse and without forethought. The story starts in Springtime and ends also in spring. The emotions in the story coincide with the coming of the seasons. She’s depression occurs on an autumn day. But her hope springs to life when she said “This world, I think we like it.” which is to me the return of the season of hope ... spring.
