The lies referred to in this short and poignant film are not the harmful ones in my opinion. They are white imaginative lies people tell to keep their loved ones feel better and when they believe the lies are for their own good. I love the art animation here. It reminds me of the illustrations in my schoolbooks when I was in grade school. It is nostalgic of youth and the stories we used to believe in while we were young. So I wonder if made-up stories can be considered lies? And if that's the case, is that so bad?
