A poignant tale of a boy named Tarek  from a refugee camp who wanders off in search of his father who's separated from him and his mother during the Israeli occupation. A bittersweet story and yet also sprinkled with a dash of good-natured humor at certain times. Jordanian actor  Mahmoud Asfa as Tarek delivers a candid portrayal  and has natural acting prowess; he is inquisitive, hopeful and optimistic. This earned for him a nomination at the Hollywood Young Artist Award, an amazing breakthrough for this sprightly and inquisitive actor. Paired with impressive cinematography and musical scoring,  this film garnered various awards at filmfests and notably at the Berlin International Fim Festival. This is a must-see!
