Uncle Boonmee is a languid and meditative film much like sitting or laying under a shady tree watching the hot afternoon pass by. Apichatpong W.'s inclusion of what seems like disconnected scenes and picture installations breaks the boundaries of storytelling but in analysis these are connected by the music and narration.
