Never would I have expected to become so invested in such a small world, listening in anticipation to the dial at one end of small brick telephone, for what is, in effect, one weekend. The Dardenne brothers have created something truly unique and inspiring here as we follow Sandra's (Marion Cotillard) difficult weekend as she seeks out her colleagues in their natural habitats and invades their private worlds. This film is about solidarity, trust, humanity and the line between asking a favour and intrusion.
