Very defined and compelling performances especially by the lead stars Lizzie Brochere as Myriam and Olympe Borval as Noor.  This is a very poignant film that tackles friendship amidst the backdrop of war.  But while viewers can see bombs being dropped and the noise of war planes there are very rare war scenes in this film as it focuses more on the relationships of the lead characters and of how they feel towards being married off by their parents (arranged marriage).  This is an outstanding piece of work by director Karin Albou who also starred in this movie as Tita, the mother of Myriam.  Do check this out!
