An odd combination of robbers with a cunning con-man as leader. This is said to be a remake of the 1955 film, I haven't seen the original one though but this version is surely epic. The reason would be because I had a lot of laughs! Tom Hanks as  Professor G.H. Darr as always delivers a phenomenal performance although he's no match to the landlady Marva, portrayed by Irma Hall. This is a mainstream film alright, with all these known actors in the cast. Tzi Ma whom I remember was in the Rush Hour films of Jackie Chan was outstanding, J.K. Simmons who was in the Spider Man movies was enigmatic and Marlon Wayans, whom I remember was convincing as a woman in White Chicks  was funny as he can be. I had a blast watching this film,  never mind if others reacted negatively to it. If it made you laugh, then it must be good!
