A touching, honest, and, for me, very real glimpse into the life of a teenager with troubles.  Big troubles.  When the world consists of home, school and maybe a club or two, what happens at any of these places in incredibly significant.  There's a sense of claustrophobia and awkwardness in this film that I love.  It's also important.
