Despite Sweet Dreams' excellent make-up and acting, the film does not scare or frighten viewers effectively. This is so as the frightening scenes are predictable. An example is when the main character passes through several victims hanging. All of them are tied up with both hands except one. That single victim had a hand free. Thus, his movement towards the main character is easily predicted. However, the main character's personal horror is believable as her acting is above average.
