'Shutter' won the best film at Bangkok International Film Festival and although it may appear to be "just another scary Asian movie", it reaches its climax quite interesting by building the suspense from casual-low to "Did you see that? Oh my God!", it has so many twists and it really is like riding a roller coaster of emotions, which is the entire purpose of watching a scary movie.\r\n\r\nI am not really a horror genre kind of person, but I can definitely appreciate a good story, especially when it's spiced up with such great technique and visuals.\r\n\r\nA golden film is one that delivers, a great horror should deliver so much fear and tension, you will choose to sleep with the lights on. Or in my case, after seeing it, never touch my camera gear for almost two months.\r\n\r\n'Shutter' delivers. Oh yes! it does.
