Now that's some sweet late-80s vibes going on there ! SHE'S A FOX nicely captures the ups and downs of awkward elementary school years with some obvious nostalgia. Cameron Sawyer wrote and directed the film based on his own experience. Jake Nutty rocks the mullet (until he sadly cuts it to catch the attention of the at the time, soon-to-be True Grit star, Hailee Steinfeld). The voice-over does a good job at conveying the confused feelings all teens feel at the time. SHE'S A FOX is a fun watch to all fans of cheesy throwbacks and childhood years.
