Quite a rarity, this one. First-rate acting in an Israeli film is no surprise, but to tackle issues around disability in such a frank way really surprised me, as did the sex scenes which, rather than gratuitous or out of place, were so crucial in depicting a relationship in a state of flux - in such heightened physical moments, what is going through one's head is made even more apparent, physically. A heart-breaking story, that could have taken place anywhere.
