I feel like this one never got the hype it deserved. Inside Llewyn Davis gives us a week inside the life of our eponymous protagonist, a folk musician in the 60s on the verge of giving up his dreams in the music industry.\r\n\r\nThis could be a set-up for a tiresome 'stick to your guns' shtick but instead the Coen Brothers give us something much more painful and intimate.\r\n\r\nIt looks beautiful, the performances are great and the soundtrack frequently threatens to steal the whole film. This one comes highly recommended.
