The man's devotion to the girl here is admirable. Inspite of her misgivings and failures he was still there at her side.  It's surprising how some people believe that their success lies in other countries yet does not see the value of the people right next to them.  As the girl goes back to her usual tasks at the pig farm  the scene seques to that of falling cherry blossoms, swirling in the water: inviting and  forming  into rhythmic circles.  This film invites us to ponder on the inevitable and of change,  or even the absence of it.
