Creatively eerie and dark!  I'd like to think that  the writer of this film has a fascination for anything wood and in here  the said fascination transcends into wooden birds and even jelly fish that move on their own,  as if living and breathing at will.  The burning human being in a way tells a message that despite of  having his free will and choices he becomes a victim of his own folly.  So much irony indeed that  it makes the film  all the more interesting!
