Engaging and heartwarming! This is a story of an "iron-clad  sort of woman" who has a strained relationship with her son. Vilma Santos shines in this film with her usual strong on-screen presence,  very much in command and very confident in her acting craft. Tagged as the "Star for all Seasons" in local Philippine cinema, she delivers yet another convincing portrayal that you will hate her to bits in this film, for the seemingly heartless attitude she has.  The discovery of her illness and the bond she will develop with her full-time nurse, played by Angel Locsin, will provide  the twist, drama and also comedy in this flick. Locsin has surely stepped up in her game as an actress and this former teeny-bopper has slowly but surely transformed into a seasoned actress as evident in this film and as she  "wields  swords" via  powerful punchlines with Santos. This film is sure to make you cry yet will also make you laugh and everything in between. Do check this out, folks!
