Lambasted upon its initial release, 'Clue' has since become a cult classic not for the curio attraction of it being the first film based on a board game, but because of the genius casting of having comedians flesh out the one-dimensional (literally - they were depicted on playing cards) characters with dialogue so sizzling it's of Rocky Horror quotability standards. Everyone has their favourite, but for me it's a toss-up between fusty Mrs. Peacock (Eileen Brennan) and nutcracker Mrs. White (Madeline Kahn). Tim Curry whisks the story along with aplomb, you can't help but fall in love with the energy on screen.
