An interesting curio, this, with shades of Alfred Hitchcock in its bizarre premise. The late, great Laurence Olivier, a score by Phillip Glass and a cameo from Noel Coward - you can imagine the raised eyebrows when the producer read that treatment! The supporting cast is excellent, and includes a brilliant turn from Anna Massey. Not for everyone, but I thought it was great. Films like this rarely come along.
