My favourite genre of all time is Film Noir and Brick takes the conventions of a Noir and places them in a completely modern setting creating one of the best neo-noirs of all time. This movie proved that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a versatile actor and one to watch. Rian Johnson wrote a unique script for the movie following the lingo of film noir and the movie is one of the most distinctive films I have seen with a beautiful soundtrack.
