BOY WONDER is a very dark psychological thriller, far from a superhero movie. Sean is a disturbed young man whose life was changed forever by the murder of his mother. Unable to deal with the pain and anger, he unleashes his violent fantasies on criminals and bullies. Any link to a Batman origin story ends there as ther is no "good guys win" in Boy Wonder. The films presents a self-destructive young man spiraling out of control while seeking justice. He immerses himself in violence to numb the pain. As the storyline flows through all kinds of emotions, your attention is required at all time, to understand Sean's behaviour. The acting is great, the music really stands out and the ending offers some decent twists to the audience. If you like stories with this element of darkness, then BOY WONDER is a must-see.\r\n
