This just became one of my favorite French films of late, for its exquisite mix of romance and the musical genre.  Director Honore, known for films like Love Songs and Metamorphoses brings together real life mother and daughter tandem of Deneuve and Mastroianni in this film that tackles long lost love and unrequited love. While the story may prove quite cliche for some,  the cast performs their roles really well  including Sagnier and Paul Schneider. The music of Alex Beaupain is upbeat and a treat to the senses. Check this out especially if you fancy French films!
