Amusing main character with his pursuit of finding acting roles, where he faces rejection. In the mean time, he makes a very convincing method actor as a patient. However, as the film continues, it becomes hard to tell what is acting and what is not, which is eventually made clear at the end as he appears to continue 'acting' (not simply rehearsing or practicing) when there is no audience for him... The effect of the classical music at the end seems to cover up the seriousness of this matter, as the oblivious actor seemed to have convinced the doctor that his real developing health issue is merely part of the act.
