Abe attempts to be thought-provoking and it fairly succeeds. Abe, a robot, attempts to put into logic vague human concepts of falling in love and love in general. Logic though cannot satisfactorily explain love. This conflict will bring out Abe's character depth and viewers will begin to understand his actions. Though there could be more communication to the viewers through possibly Abe's eye movements, the film still succeeds in delivering its logical yet bloody view of how to fix love.
