FILMDOO - EMBRACING DIVERSITY IN THE FILM INDUSTRY

The mainstream media and outlets for the film industry can quite often be conformist and only look at what will appeal to the broader demographic. At FilmDoo, our mission has always been about helping under-represented stories to get seen and heard by a global audience. As an international film platform enabling filmmakers from all reaches of the planet to showcase their content, we have built a home for one of the largest diverse film collections from around the world, which in turn has helped to attract and create a very diverse and open-minded global community of film fans from all different backgrounds, cultures and interests.

Our collection of movies cover a wide and varied scope of topics and themes. We do not believe in discrimination on the basis of race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status such as disability, age, marital and family status, sexual orientation and gender identity, health status, place of residence, economic and social situation.

We pride ourselves on creating a warm and collaborative community for creative, open, proud and passionate film makers, whereby the artists can showcase their work for people to learn more about different cultures and languages, watching a beautiful piece of cinema that leaves them feeling inspired and with a feeling that resonates long after.

FIILMDOO - DIVERSITY IS AT THE HEART OF OUR WORKPLACE

Inclusion at work is about recognising and appreciating that every individual is different.

At FilmDoo, diversity and inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. From the very beginning, FilmDoo was founded by two co-founders: one Thai female founder and an Australian male founder. Since our launch, at the FilmDoo workplace, our entire team members have come from all over the world with diverse ethnic backgrounds. Our current team members are from a myriad of countries, including China, Germany, Australia, Thailand, France, Belgium and Canada.

To ensure that FilmDoo stays relevant and continues to meet the needs of our audience from different cultures and countries, it is important that our team members must be as diverse and inclusive as the world itself. This creates the very best team in a company providing such a diverse platform to the entire planet. Our team meetings and projects are always made up of lively discussions from different perspectives and mind-sets, making for the best user experience we can offer to accommodate everyone.

An atmosphere where our team members of diverse backgrounds can thrive and grow also means our business will thrive and grow throughout the world!
